Elanga can't wait to team up again with Isak

ANTHONY Elanga has described Alexander Isak as one of the “best in the world” amid intense links with Liverpool - but insists such transfer talk is all part of the territory, dismissing it as “noise”.

Elanga insisted that one of the reasons he quit the City Ground was to play alongside Isak, but feels there are some fantastic combinations across the pitch that can help him be a hit at St James’ Park.

Isak has not moved from Newcastle's Austria training camp this week despite talk increasing that the Reds want him this summer.

That talk has cooled with the Reds advancing in discussions to sign Hugo Ekitike, but Isak remains a target of the Anfield club.

Elanga also stated that there were many factors why he signed for Newcastle, including the £63million man who he plies his trade with for Sweden.
