Distinguished diner gets warm welcome on coast

Malaysia's Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, visited the North East last weekend on a working trip to Blyth’s offshore wind farm.

Sharing photos and videos on social media of his trip, Fadillah, who is also the Malaysian Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, told his followers about the history of the wind farm.

He explained that Vantage RE, which is owned by Malaysian utility company Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), is a shareholder in Blyth Offshore Demonstrator Limited (BODL).

During his visit he told reporters that this demonstrates the ability of large Malaysian companies to invest and expand internationally.
