Crucial time ahead in Wissa quest

THE next few days will prove crucial to Newcastle United's pursuit of Yoane Wissa as Brentford play hardball over their attacking talent.

The striker left the club's Portugal training camp last week and held talks with Director of Football Phil Giles over his immediate future.
Since then, a hardline stance has been taken by Brentford, who aren't ready to sanction Wissa's Newcastle move without a fight.
The club's first-team players returned from their European training camp yesterday, enjoy a day off today and then return to training in the capital tomorrow.
