Clean energy projects to receive share of £13m pot

NORTH East projects are set to get a share of more than £13m through The Crown Estate's innovative Supply Chain Accelerator.

Blyth Harbour Commission and the ORE (Offshore Renewable Energy) Catapult are among 16 projects around the country which will receive development funding to keep the UK at the forefront of the global offshore wind industry and support national clean power goals.
The funding marks the second round of The Crown Estate's Supply Chain Accelerator programme, which aims to increase early-stage development of UK supply chain projects that serve the offshore wind sector.
