Aerospace factory faces pay dispute strike action

STAFF at an aerospace factory in Newcastle are set to strike in November as part of an ongoing pay dispute.
-
More than 3000 Unite union members from leading defence company Leonardo UK will walk out next month.
Facilities in both England and Scotland will be impacted, with workers in Newcastle and Edinburgh striking between November 5 and 6, and again between November 10 and 18.
Union officials say staff were refused a better deal after declining an initial offer of 3.2%, which is said to be a real-terms pay cut.
