Two arrested over roadside assault

Two suspects were arrested in connection with a viral video circulating on social media, showing an individual being attacked by a group of people on a public road.
The incident occurred on the 26 April. Arrests were made by the Kiribathgoda Police.
According to ongoing investigations, the incident took place in front of a state bank on Main Street in Kiribathgoda.
