Quite a few people put down tired eyes to the current heat.

No doubt, the moment you venture out, during the day, your eyes hurt because of the strong rays of the sun.
Tired eyes, or tired looking eyes, is also due to computer eye strain, glued to your smart-phone, extended periods of intense work / study, or just general eye fatigue.
