Dinumi, Abhinesh emerge as best athletes at Wattegama Zonal Athletics Championships

Printer Dinumi Nimsara Dasanayake of Ratnayake Central Walala and Harigaran Abhinesh of Rajawella Hindu National School were adjudged the best athletes in the girls' and boys' categories at the Zonal Athletics Championship of Wattegama held at the Provincial Sports Complex, Digana last week.

Dinumi's 12.6 seconds feat to win the Under 20 100 metres stoodout as the most impressive performance in the meet in the girls' category. Abhinesh was rewarded for his 4:16.5 seconds performance in the Under 20 boys' 1,500 metres.
