The BBC comedy launched 20 years ago, on July 21, and was written by The Office creators Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.
Ricky played wannabe star Andy Millman with Stephen as his inept agent, Darren Lamb.
Ashley Jensen played Andy's friend Maggie who also worked as an extra and dreamed of making it some day to an acting role with lines. Shaun Williamson joined in the fun as “Barry from EastEnders”.
