TOWN TEEN TALENT HAS ENJOYED 'BEING PART OF THAT GROUP'
HUDDERSFIELD Town academy prospect Jay Sway is eager to get “as many minutes” in the first team as possible following his appearances in the side this season.
The 18-year-old has featured six times for the Terriers so far this term, all of which have been made in cup competitions.
The young fullback was brought on as a second-half substitute in all three of Town's Carabao Cup matches this season, against Leicester City, Sunderland and Manchester City.
The defender also played in all three of the Terriers’ EFL Trophy group stage matches against Newcastle United under-21s, Harrogate Town and Mansfield Town, with the youngster making his first senior start against the Sulphurites in September.
Discussing his hopes moving forward, Sway told his club’s website: “This season is about getting as many minutes as I can in the first team. Helping whenever I get the chance, I just need to be ready to take every opportunity I get.
