DROP-IN EVENTS AHEAD OF SCHEME START DATE
WORK to change a Calderdale town centre will begin early in the New Year - and drop-in sessions have been organised to allow people to find out more about how it will unfold.
Transforming Brighouse town centre is expected to take around 18 months.
Esh Construction, appointed to carry out the work for Calderdale Council and the Brighouse Town Deal Board as part of the £19.1 million UK Govern ment-funded Town Deal, will carry out work in three phases, with each area being completed before going on to the next.
Improvements involve upgrading streets and public spaces with the aim of encouraging people to spend more time, more often, in Brighouse.
Those impacted are being invited to the two drop-in information sessions with the contractor to find out more.
