YOUNGSTER FOUND WITH M-CAT AND KETAMINE 'COULDN'T GIVE HIS NAME' AFTER BEING APPREHENDED BY SECURITY

Festival drug dealer jailed

A HUDDERSFIELD dealer caught selling drugs at Leeds Festival for the second time has been jailed.

Brandon Wood, 24, has been put behind bars after an officer at the festival found him unable to say his own name and in possession of Ketamine, magic mushrooms and M-Cat.

Prosecutor Louise Pryke told Leeds Crown Court on Wednesday it was August 26, 2023, when Wood, of Greenlea Court, was caught with the drugs.

She told the court: “It was just after midnight at Leeds Festival. A rapid response security officer was alerted to the fact that there appeared to be drug dealing. She spoke to him and he was clearly under the influence. He couldn't give his name. He had 11 bags of Ketamine found on his person.”

The court heard the value of drugs can double at festivals, meaning that haul would be over £200.

Ms Pryke said he was also found in possession of M-Cat, magic mushrooms, and two phones.

She added: “He passed out in the eviction zone and when he came around he was abusive.
