THE manager describes it as a “chilled out cafe” and that's pretty much spot on.
I came across Najjo's Punjabi Kitchen while wandering around Lindley in Huddersfield and hadn’t seen it before and so was eager to take a look.
A family-run business, Najjo's has been open for around 18 months and has a handful of dining tables but is also a popular takeaway. It’s billed as “town’s only authentic Punjabi cafe”.
The vast menu included burgers and pizzas but it was proper Punjabi food that I was craving so I had a word with the manager, Kam Gill, who very helpfully guided me towards a murgh tikka saag (£10.90).
