ARGYLE BOSS HONOURED TO BE RECOGNISED BY PEERS
PLYMOUTH Argyle boss Steven Schumacher missed out being named manager of the year by the League Managers Association, but the man who led the Pilgrims to the League One title did win the League One award.
Schumacher was on the shortlist for the main award alongside Arsenal's Mikel Arteta, Brighton's Roberto de Zerbi, Newcastle's Eddie Howe and Burnley's Vincent Kompany. The winner though was Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.
