Tavistock beaten in derby with Bideford

STUART Henderson felt his Tavistock side took a step backwards after they crashed to a 2-0 home defeat to Bideford in Southern League Division One
After some promising performances of late, Henderson felt his side lacked quality at key moments in the Devon derby as they slipped to second from bottom of the table after goals by Javan Wright and Alex Moyse.
“I was disappointed,” Henderson said. “I felt that the first half in particular was just fast and furious, for both teams. There wasn't a lot of football played.
“We fell into the trap of... It's difficult because we want to play and obviously if it's not on to play, you don't want to take risks. But I felt that we went long.
