Tavi strengthen with signing of striker Williams

TAVISTOCK manager Stuart Henderson is hoping that new striker Bradley Williams can give his side an attacking boost ahead of the Lambs trip to Melksham Town in Southern League Division One South.

The 26-year-old former Barnstaple Town frontman has played in Tavi's last two games - the 23-0 win at Mousehole and the 2-1 Devon derby loss to Exmouth Town. But with top scorer Jack Crago suspended for tomorrow's trip to Melksham, there will be added emphasis on Williams to lead the line and help drag the Lambs back out of the relegation zone.

“We've got one through the door in Brad, but we need at least a couple more in different positions,’ Henderson said. “But yeah, it’s kind of getting players of the right quality within the budget you can afford. That’s the battle that myself and other managers have several have in this area of the country.
