MEMBERS HELP HER AFTER BEREAVEMENTS
A PLYMOUTH woman has battled through the loss of several family members with the help of her weightloss group to drop two dress sizes.
In the last five years, Kelly has lost five loved ones and each loss brought its own heartbreak.
But Kelly found comfort in her local Slimming World group, where Kelly said became her safe place through her years of grief.
Despite her turbulent times, Kelly lost 2.5 stone and went from a size 14 to a size 10 with the help of her group.
"My Slimming World journey has been difficult," she said. "Life throws many things at you, and in the five years I've been a member, I've sadly lost my mother-in-law, my dad, my mum, my uncle and my auntie."
"Coming into group, seeing my Consultant, and being surrounded by friends who supported me through my tough times... that made all the difference," she said.
