REVIEW: JESSICA HEPBURN’S GREAT ADVENTURE

TOP ballerina and former Strictly judge Dame Darcey Bussell has revealed how she literally married the boy next door.

The dancer told a rapt audience in Plymouth how she met husband Angus Forbes when she moved into the neighbouring flat in London.

Darcey was interviewed at Theatre Royal Plymouth’s Drum auditorium as part of the Jessica Hepburn’s Great Adventure show, and spilled the beans about how she and Angus Forbes got together.

The couple now have a home in Plymouth and Darcey said she and her hubby had relocated to Britain's Ocean City because of a project he was involved in - and then, perhaps wisely, said it would be best not to go into it further.

Mr Forbes this year led an unsuccessful bid to have Plymouth governed by a directly elected mayor. Darcey, instead, concentrated on how the couple got together, saying that after she met the “handsome Australian” when she moved into her flat, their busy work schedules meant their paths didn’t cross again for another six months when they bumped into each other.
