Record-breaking year for annual hanging garland
A NEAR-perfect spring and summer has yielded a record number of flowers for an annual Christmas Garland at a National Trust property near Plymouth.
Gardeners at Cotehele said their annual garland has reached new heights, with 38,000 flowers being grown, picked, stripped, dried and prepared on site for the 2025 display.
A balanced mix of sunshine, warmth and timely rainfall saw the garden team at the National Trust property enjoy one of their most successful growing seasons in decades.
