Pilgrims 'as you were' for their trip to Reading
The Herald
|March 14, 2026
PLYMOUTH Argyle will not have any of their 10 injured players back available for the League One game away to Reading today.
-
However, head coach Tom Cleverley has confirmed that four of them are close to making their comebacks as the inform Pilgrims, with five wins from their last six games, try to chase down a playoff place.
Goalkeeper Conor Hazard, defender Brendan Galloway and midfielder Ayman Benarous could all be back for the visit of Steve-nage to Home Park on Tuesday.
Cleverley has also stated that 17-goal top scorer Lorent Tolaj (pictured) could be in contention for a return when Argyle are at home to Huddersfield Town on Saturday, March 21.
Argyle's squad has been so depleted by injuries that first-year apprentices Seb Campbell and Joe Mwaro were both named among the substitutes for the away game against Wigan Athletic on Tuesday night, which they won 3-0.
The two latest additions to the Pilgrims' already lengthy casualty list were Wes Harding and Matty Sorinola, who were both injured during the 2-1 home victory over Doncaster Rovers last Saturday.
