Mann on top form as Octagon prove too strong for Legends Lounge

Sean Taylor's three-dart combination outshot came in a 1001 leg that was put away in 33 darts by Taylor, Lee Hellings, and Neil White.

A 2-1 win for Hellings and Alfie Ford over the 601 distance included a crucial 20-darter before White added the first 180 in another 2-1 doubles win that put his team at 5-0. That success for White and Taylor came despite Ryan Fuller and Del Bryce winning their solitary leg in just 17 darts before White stepped up first in the singles.

White completed a personal ton haul of 11 before Mann's aforementioned exploits saw him take out 118 and 102 finishes during a match that saw the second 180 for his team thrown by Mann.

Fred Goldsmith ended his night with a 3-0 win and 11 tons before Taylor was the fourth member of the team to complete a 3-0 triumph, which also left him on ten tons for the contest. Hellings topped his ton tally up to the 12 mark with a 128 game high checkout during a 3-0 win, which also saw Hellings plunder a leg in 16 darts. Ford rounded off the rampant win with a 3-1 success over Bryce, who helped himself to a checkout of 109 during that loss.

St Levans snuck home against Fawn A in a last leg deciding 6-5 win with most of the firepower coming from Tex Pearce and his 14 ton-plusses. After seeing his team build a 4-1 lead, Reg Matthews narrowly missed out on a singles win despite nailing a 17-darter in a 3-2 loss.
