Man in court over 'acid attack'

A 25-year-old man appeared at court charged with a number of offences following an alleged acid attack at a property in Plymouth.

Israel Augustus of Pulford Road, north London, appeared at Plymouth Magistrates' Court on Saturday, where he confirmed his address and date of birth before the legal advisor read out the charges.
He is jointly charged with Kelvin Sante of applying a destructive substance - namely sulphuric acid - with intent to cause grievous bodily harm at an address in Lipson Road, Plymouth on February 21.
