Join Charlie on a cruise on the Sound

PLYMOUTH singer/ songwriter Charlie Noordewier is hotly tipped for great things this year, following the release of his latest single Little Miss Sunshine, the announcement of his forthcoming UK tour and having already played support for the mighty Sam Fender at Whythenshaw Park in Manchester.

"That was absolutely crazy," says Charlie, "the invitation to support Sam came completely out of the blue and reality only hit when I was at the side of the stage ready to go on. There was a capacity crowd of around 40,000 and I played to at least half of them..."

Charlie had obviously impressed Sam and his team having recorded several tracks at Sam's studio in North Shields.

"I got on with him really well," says Charlie, "and he was very complimentary about my music".

The single was produced by members of Sam's touring and recording outfit and was made during an immersive week of day and night jams, where Charlie camped out in the studio beneath a constellation of speaker and mix channels.
