I'll leave you to imagine my reply. But yes, I am, and I have been fortunate to have experienced some amazing things and met some wonderful people. None more so than a couple of great friends I had lunch with this week.

At a time when most people would be well into retirement and enjoying their children, and grandchildren, Tricia and Alan Cotton are still up and at it!

Tricia was an English and Drama teacher for 25 years, but resigned from teaching in 1982, to work alongside and support her husband, Alan Cotton, in his career as a professional artist.

In her late 60s, having raised four children, she decided it was her turn and fulfilled a long-held ambition to go to Drama School where she gained an MA in Acting and Theatre Practices.
