THE Bishop of Plymouth, The Rt Revd James Grier, will lead this year’s Remembrance Sunday Service on Plymouth Hoe.
The service, which remembers all those who lost their lives in both World Wars and in all conflicts, will take place on Sunday 9 November.
He will be joined at Plymouth’s Remembrance Sunday Service by the Lord Mayor, Councillor Kathy Watkin; the Lord Mayor's Consort, Alderman Dr John Mahony and the Lord-Lieutenant of Devon, Mr David Fursdon.
The Deputy Lord Mayor, Councillor Chip Tofan; Council Leader Tudor Evans; Councillor Lee Finn (representing the Conservative group); Councillor Steve Ricketts (representing The Independents) and Council Chief Executive, Tracey Lee will also attend the service.
It will begin with a two-minute silence at the Royal Naval Memorial at 11am.
