Site plans for Allenby Road in North Prospect, where nine affordable new homes are proposed by Plymouth Community Homes
A PLYMOUTH housing site once home to two now-demolished properties and a row of garages could soon be transformed into nine affordable homes under a new proposal by Plymouth Community Homes.
The application, submitted by Plymouth Community Homes Regeneration Company Ltd, outlines plans to redevelop land at 1-3 Allenby Road, PL2 3JH, including the demolition of two existing houses and a set of 14 garages to the rear.
If approved, the scheme would deliver five terraced houses and four one-bedroom flats in a semidetached block - all for social rent.
The development covers approximately 0.18 hectares of brownfield land in the North Prospect area. The site includes previously cleared plots at Nos. 5 and 7, as well as Nos. 1 and 3 Allenby Road, and the associated garage court. The proposal includes associated infrastructure such as parking, private gardens, cycle storage, and refuse and recycling facilities.
