'Confusing' speed limit signs blasted by motorist

A MOTORIST has accused council bosses of confusing drivers with a mixture of speed limit signs on the same road. The driver – who has asked not to be identified – took a series of photos along Plymbridge Road showing both 30mph and 40mph signs.

They suggested Plymouth City Council had messed up by “changing the speed limit” and accused them of leaving old 40mph signs up and not covering them and not warning residents of the speed limit change, adding that it is not in force “by traffic order until 01/06/23”.
