PLYMOUTH Argyle Women produced a composed and clinical performance to book their place in the second round of the FA Women's National League Cup, defeating a strong Watford side 3-0 at Kings Langley.

Fresh from her Wales international call-up, Tianna Teisar continued her fine form with a second half goal while Olivia Francis struck twice, once in each half, to seal a deserved victory.
Head coach Marie Hourihan praised the team's mentality and execution. "We came in today with a real intention and appetite to win," she said. "The game plan was spot on. We were aggressive with and without the ball and dominated in all areas."
Argyle started on the front foot, creating early chances through Roisin Kivel and Teisar, whose close-range effort was blocked by a Watford defender after neat buildup play.
Watford, who are top of the FAWNL Southern Premier Division, had spells of pressure but were met by a disciplined Argyle defence led by Layla Proctor and Ellie Noble. Ella Stephens provided energy down the right, with her cross narrowly missing Phoebie Poole at the back post.
