'AGLOW WITH TWINKLING LIGHTS AND ALIVE WITH FESTIVE CHEER'
A SHORT walk from where I live, a festive market is in full swing. I've already made a few visits to this Christmas extravaganza and the atmosphere is simply magical. The market boasts a vast array of stocking fillers, unique clothing at fantastic prices, and a delicious selection of food and drink.
Plymouth is currently aglow with twinkling lights and brimming with festive cheer. Live music, including Christmas carols as well as rock, pop, soul and more, fills the Piazza, while traders have travelled from all corners to sell their specialities here this December.
Market vendors have expressed their love for the "vibrant" city of Plymouth. For many sellers, it's their first time visiting our seaside city. Having frequented the Plymouth Christmas Market for a decade, I can confidently say that this year it has an especially sparkling vibe.
Nestled between the breathtaking landscape of Dartmoor National Park - which also offers a stunning wintertime setting - and beautiful Cornwall to its west, Plymouth is a gem for locals and visitors alike.
Local traders Adam and Nicola Webb, who run Nicky's Glow Beads & Gifts in the nearby Cornish town of Saltash, have set up a fantastic stall at this year's Plymouth Christmas Market. They're offering some top-quality Italian jumpers for sale.
