A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction, following an extensive overnight police search for a Nissan Qashqai in the South West.
Devon and Cornwall Police initially put out an appeal at around 10.45pm on Tuesday this week, saying they were searching for the black car due to a concern for the welfare of its occupants. The vehicle, which was carrying a man and two children, had been seen travelling through areas of Cornwall and Devon, including Calstock, Lifton, Bude, and Kilkhampton.
