Appeal for bikers to join tribute ride for beloved Karol

MOTORCYCLIST are being asked to help escort a young Plymouth man to his final rest this month.

Karol Zalewski died after his motorcycle was involved in a crash on the morning of May 20 on Kings Road, Plymouth.

The two-vehicle crash involved Karol's motorcycle and a red Mercedes. Karol was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was closed throughout Tuesday afternoon while forensic investigations were carried out at the scene.

In a deeply moving series of tributes written by his family and friends, Karol - known to many as Lolek - was described by his best friend Oskar Keida as "like a brother to me" saying he was "the best person I've ever known".
