Woman who threw milkshake at Farage gets suspended sentence

A woman who threw milkshake over Nigel Farage during the general election campaign has avoided jail after humiliating the Reform UK leader in "an assault on democracy".
Victoria Thomas Bowen, 25, was given a 13-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, at Westminster magistrates court yesterday.
Thomas Bowen, of Clacton-on-Sea, was charged with assault by beating after throwing a milkshake at Farage outside the Moon and Star-fish pub in the town on 4 June as he launched his parliamentary campaign in the Essex constituency.
The OnlyFans model was also charged with criminal damage after causing harm to a jacket worn by his security guard James Woolfenden.
