Government to fund 100,000 EV charging points across England

About 100,000 street-side electric vehicle (EVs) charging points will be installed across England as a result of £381m in extra funding, ministers said yesterday.
The scheme aims to boost uptake among motorists without driveways or charging points.
The new charging points will come on top of 80,000 installed publicly across the UK, and tens of thousands more installed privately.
