Bowie artwork for Aladdin Sane tipped to set record at auction

The original image for David Bowie’s Aladdin Sane could become the most expensive album artwork ever sold when it put up for auction with an estimate of £300,000.
The camera used in the shoot is also to be sold
The picture of Bowie with a lightning bolt streaking across his face could beat the record set by Led Zeppelin’s debut album cover, which features a image of the Hindenburg airship disaster and sold for $325,000 (then £260,000) in 2020.
