TARGETED BY FAR-RIGHT TROLLS AFTER FAMILY VIDEO IS FABRICATED

A REDCAR family has been targeted by far-right trolls after a video they made of an innocent day in the park with their grandchildren was shared online including by prominent far-right activist Tommy Robinson.

Natalie Ayeni, 52, and her husband Olajuwon, 35, said “lies and racism” have turned their lives upside down, with people threatening to “slash” them in the street, after trolls spread false paedo-phile accusations.

Natalie and Olajuwon are now too frightened to leave their home after a TikTok video they posted was taken and altered before being spread across social media with fabricated claims about child grooming. They say the harassment escalated when Tommy Robinson shared the video to his 1.4 million followers with the caption “Wtf is even going on here? Where are the parents?!”

The family made appeals to explain the innocent nature of the footage.

“We haven't gone outside at home, we just can’t,” said devastated Natalie.

“Someone was shouting ‘paedophile’ outside the house the other night, so I rang the police again but they say there's little they can do. It feels like a matter of time before something bad happens.”

The couple described a street encounter where “two lads past us, spun round and said ‘I hope you're not them off that video or we're coming back to slash you up.”
