Serving police officer guilty of horrendous sexual abuse on schoolgirl

HIS YOUNG VICTIM TOOK THE MORNING AFTER PILL
A CLEVELAND Police officer who sexually abused a “vulnerable” schoolgirl has been locked up for 14 years.
Nathan Henderson asked the girl to play the role of a “seven-year-old child” during the sexual abuse, Teesside Crown Court heard.
The 30-year-old also bought her chocolate, energy drinks and sex toys. The Middlesbrough court was told that the former police constable - who was serving at the time of the abuse - used handcuffs and a blindfold on the girl.
On one occasion, the victim took the morning after pill after their sexual activity.
The girl realised Henderson was a police officer when she saw a social media post from Cleveland Police, picturing him at a community event.
Yesterday, Henderson appeared in court on video link from Durham prison. Sporting a beard, he remained impassive throughout the hearing.
Paul Cleasby, prosecuting, said that the police received information on the victim from the National Crime Agency after she uploaded indecent images of herself online.
The girl named Henderson, telling officers she met up with him for sex. But she tipped Henderson off about the police visit by sending him a message while officers were at her home. When the police turned up at their former colleague's Stockton address, he got hold of a knife and locked himself in his bedroom. He snapped his phone in half and hid it in a boot.
