A SCHOOL in Loftus has been given high praise in a recent Ofsted report.

The recent visit was Handale Primary School's first ungraded inspection since Ofsted inspectors judged it as 'good' for overall effectiveness in February 2020.

The pupils’ behaviour and the teaching and attitude of staff have been highlighted as just some of the school's strengths.

Children’s kindness and consideration towards each other have also been praised by inspectors.

The report, which follows inspections in January, says: “Handale Primary School has taken effective action to maintain the standards identified at the previous inspection.
