Life’s taken a turn along easy street recently since | started staying two nights a week with my parents on an incredible all-inclusive deal.
It’s not been quite as easy for Victoria who's left in sole charge of the children, but | am always available to provide emotional and moral support via WhatsApp.
It's not quite as one-sided as it sounds since the twins are on holiday, along with their mother, whereas | am negotiating the perils of a new job, albeit with some delicious evening meals and nicely ironed shirts.
Despite this seemingly ideal situation of a weekly break from my beloved children, the truth is I've been feeling a little concerned by my coldness of heart.
Should | really enjoy the quiet evenings of fine food and television | want to watch quite this much?
