Pipefitter found with drugs, gun and baseball bat

A GRANGETOWN pipefitter has been jailed after police uncovered drugs, a double-barrelled shotgun and a baseball bat covered in barbed wire.

Shaun Harrison says he found the standard .410 bore shotgun “in a bush” and decided to take it home.

Police raided Harrison’s home on April 1, last year, and found four bags of crack cocaine, tied up with wads of cash notes.

Harrison, 58, also had a machete and a baseball bat covered in barbed wire.

Police also found a small amount of ketamine.

Days later, on April 30, officers raided Harrison's home on Broadway, in Grangetown, again.

Harrison was not at home, and police found a small amount of cannabis.
