The Gazette
|October 09, 2025
GRAHAM Harker, known to followers online as Graham Vegas, has been described as a ‘true legend’ as thousands of tributes and heartfelt comments were posted online.
Graham Harker and wife Christine
The 67-year-old, from Stockton, was diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer in July and on the morning of October 5 he sadly passed away.
A British Army veteran, Graham became an online personality alongside son Craig, 38, making content about food and their travels for their hundreds of thousands of followers.
Following a social media appeal, more than 100 cards from around the world were sent to Graham so he and his family could celebrate Christmas early.
Graham, who is dad to Craig, Laura and Lee, celebrated his 67th birthday in hospital on September 22. Graham met wife Christine when he was a bingo caller at the Mecca Bingo, in Stockton. Craig said: “He then spent his wedding anniversary in hospital too, on September 26. It was their 27th anniversary and they've been together 40 years.”
