Drug addict 'cuckooed' vulnerable man's home

A CALLOUS drug addict who helped turn a vulnerable older man's home into a drugs den held a knife to his throat and asked "do you think I am some sort of divvy?

Dawn Robinson, 41, "cuckooed" her victim - moving into his flat and taking drugs there, alongside others. The 58-year-old victim, who lives alone on Gloucester Street, Hartlepool, and struggles with poor health, said she pressured him for cash and was "volatile and not always nice" to him.

On the morning of September 25 last year, Robinson woke up in the man's home and demanded cash to buy crack cocaine. When the victim said that he didn't have any money, the defendant took a four-inch steak knife from the man's kitchen and held it to his throat.
