Donna Keogh's parents told man arrested in Thailand with extradition due
The Gazette
|June 11, 2025
THE parents of Donna Keogh have been told a man has been arrested in Thailand and is due to be extradited to the UK.
Donna was 17 years old when she disappeared on April 19, 1998, after visiting a house in Bow Street, Middlesbrough. It is believed she was murdered a short time later. Her body has never been found and her killer or killers have not been brought to justice.
For 27 years, her mum and dad Brian and Shirley Keogh have appealed to the public for help in finding their girl and those responsi ble for cutting her life tragically short. Now, they say a family liaison officer has contacted them and informed them a man has been arrested in Thailand.
Brian says officers did not confirm to the family whether the arrest was made in relation to Donna's case “due to operational reasons”.
Cleveland Police has since told The Gazette that an 80-year-old man has been arrested in Thailand in connection with an alleged sex offence and other related nonrecent offending in the UK.
