Charged with girl's murder

WOMAN, 25, AND MAN, 21, APPEAR IN COURT
TWO people have appeared in court charged with the murder of a toddler.
Harrison Simpson and Alexandra Walker appeared at Teesside Magistrates' Court yesterday.
Simpson, 21, and Walker, 25, are accused of murdering a two-year-old girl, who has not yet been named, on Saturday, September 13. Cleveland Police officers were called to Hartington Close following a report of concerns for the welfare of a two-year-old child.
The girl was taken to hospital and later passed away.
