WHEN Middlesbrough beat Birmingham City recently, eagle-eyed supporters noticed that goalscorer David Strelec's kit looked a little different to that of his teammates.

Change of shirt for Boro in aid of club Foundation

The Boro shirt that will be worn against Bristol City today, with the MFC Foundation logo as front-of-shirt sponsor

The Slovakian's shirt bore the front-of-shirt sponsor of Utilita - the sponsor for under-21 shirts - instead of first-team sponsor Unibet, like the rest of the Boro players. That was because of a misprint on Strelec's second shirt, which he changed into at halftime of the game at St Andrew's.

This afternoon, as Boro take on Bristol City at the Riverside looking to end a three-match winless run on home turf, fans may notice once again that Unibet won't be the name on the front of Strelec's shirt - or any Boro player for that matter.

Instead, this weekend's Boro shirts will feature the MFC Foundation logo, with FDJ United - the parent company of Unibet - donating the front-of-shirt sponsor space to Boro's affiliated charity for the game.
