Bring It On Boro activities for children include visits to Santa's grotto
THOUSANDS of Middlesbrough children will benefit from free activities, experiences and food over the festive period.
Bring It On Boro will run during the Christmas school holidays.
Young people aged from five to 16 years old will be able to enjoy festive fun including panto trips, Santa's grotto visits and craft sessions - alongside sports including football, cheerleading and boxing.
Every child who attends will receive a healthy meal at each session.
Families in Middlesbrough have previously described how the programme has "helped their children to thrive" and "motivated them to step outside of their comfort zone".
