Boyfriend put his partner in chokehold and bit her finger

A VIOLENT boyfriend pulled a woman’s hair extensions and put her in a chokehold.
Kevin Morrison, 50, pulled his partner to the floor and put her in the wrestling hold after turning up drunk at her home on July 16 last year.
He bit her finger and pulled her hair extensions.
A teenager at the house called police, and a neighbour also reported the attack - telling officers that she saw Morrison “pin the woman against the window and throw her all over.”
When the police arrived at the Middlesbrough house, Morrison was sitting on the doorstep outside, having been locked out.
Morrison denied assault occasioning actual bodily harm, but he was convicted by a jury after standing trial at Teesside Crown Court.
