Boro fans turning up to give team a promotion push
The Gazette
|December 10, 2025
THE fans are buying big-time into Middlesbrough's promotion push.
-
Attendances are currently averaging above last season’s tally at 26,892, while tickets for away games have been sellouts.
Figures do fluctuate, whichever website you visit, but it does appear that crowds at the Riverside are currently running around 1,500 above last season.
The longer the team stays in a top-two spot, the better the potential for the fans to keep flocking back.
Certainly there’s no reason to doubt that there will be a virtual full house for the Boxing Day fixture against Blackburn Rovers.
