WALLINGTON
Near Cambo, Northumberland
Once the home of the unconventional, the house at Wallington is surrounded by gardens, woodland and farmland.
Discover the walled garden hid den in the East Wood. The stunning long White Border on the south side of the house, puts on a show right until autumn.
ORMESBY HALL
Redcar and Cleveland
A stone’s throw from the centre of Middlesbrough, discover a green oasis of gardens and woodland. In May, wisteria frames the windows of the Georgian mansion with a purple haze. Rhododendrons add dashes of white, purple and pink to the borders.
