The Gazette
|August 15, 2025
A STAGECOACH bus ‘gang attack’ halted a service on a journey to Middlesbrough. An appeal has been launched after a video emerged of a bus passenger being attacked by the group of young women.
-
The victim can be seen sitting on the bus when around three young women, or girls, surround the person and one appears to try to grab at their face. One passerby said the gang also grabbed at and pulled the passenger's hair.
They can be heard shouting at the victim as other bus users and the driver tries to intervene.
The 36A Stagecoach bus pulled up in Greatham Village's High Street when the attack occurred at about 10.30pm on Monday.
Residents heard the commotion from inside their homes.
