RENOWNED ARTIST LYNTON IS CONVINCED ANYONE CAN TAKE IT UP

IF YOU see Lynton out and about with his paints and palette in hand, don’t be shy, go over and say hello.

Guisborough’s Lynton Parmar-Hemsley is a professional artist with over 30 years’ experience.

He has appeared on Sky Landscape and Portrait Artist of the Year as well as being featured on a number of shows for the BBC and Channel 4.

His most recent appearance was alongside Dan Walker on Channel 5's ‘Yorkshire Great and Small’.

Born in Manchester, Lynton now lives in Guisborough and before that near Roseberry Topping.

“My dad was born into a Yorkshire family and raised in Colton Bridge near York. I’ve always loved this part of the world, there’s a warmth and openness to the people that I have never quite experienced anywhere else,” he said.
